Mer-Terre is a private owned Israeli civil engineering company’ focusing on marine
related works.
The company specializes in marine construction, coastal construction and pile driving. Also performance of varied works at sea and land, driving pipe of different types for all types of infrastructures, on land and under the seabed, dredging using dredgers excavators and pumps, drying sea and vibro-compaction.

Mer-Terre owns a complete line of equipment specially designed for marine construction as: cranes, driving towers, vibration hammers, striking hammers, etc.
Mer-Terre employs highly qualified workers. Consequently we are able to manage complicated works with sophisticated technological know-how. This includes a marine surveying section. In general, the equipment and the professional teams provide Mer-Terre with unique flexibility for the performance of a wide range of different works.
The Company’s operations are controlled from its yard, workshop, garage, warehouses, engineering department and offices at the Southern Industrial Zone in Ashkelon, spreading its activities from Eilat to the North of Israel.
The Company is registered as main contractor for Harbor construction – 600 Classification 5-C (unlimited).
During the recent years Mer-Terre performed a wide range of works in the harbor’s field, including the construction of wharves, marine excavations, drying areas and construction of infrastructures. The construction of four Marinas: Herzliya, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Haifa (Kishon Port), and totally renewed the Marina at the ancient City of Akko.
Further, conduced the laying of infrastructures at the Intel’s factory, built all the pipeline pumping water of the desalination facility in Hadera from the sea depth to the factory.
